Russia’s first private Asian black bear shelter was opened in Primorye. A hectare sized open-air cage was built for bears in Kiparisovo village. It has enough place for running, playing and fighting and a swimming pool. This is an actual paradise for these animals, especially after being locked in cages for years.
Everyone helped to built the shelter. The erection took about 6 months and it is not over yet. Parks, houses and various recreation zones are planned to be built there.
