Four years ago the first auto train with doctors and medical equipment on board headed to different parts of the region. Ever since, it has even changed its name - everyone called it “Zabota” (care) but now it is known as “Zdorovie” (health).
The auto train was created in order to make up for the lack of specialists in some regions. During the first two years, the project included up to 15 doctors, nurses and laboratory assistants.
The main aim of “Zdorovie” is to reveal diseases and prevent them from developing.
In 2019, the train visited 120 villages and cities of Primorye, more than 19 thousand patients were examined.
