Cossacks of Primorye save their traditions on Russky island and dream about their own land and cossacks settlement. Aleksey Kalina, one of the cossacks, teaches younger generation how to use a dagger and also cooks pancakes for everyone. 

Cossacks main job is to protect their territory. On Russky island they protect the Vladivostok’s fortress. The ataman, Aleksey Streltsov, has to work every day.
