Scientists from Far Eastern Federal University together with their colleagues from the History. Archeology and Ethnography Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences found a new kind of ceramics. This discovery will help studying different cultural traditions of the region. 

During the excavation on «Cherepakha 7» monument, located on the Northern coast of the Ussurii Bay and related to the culture of Southern Primorye (1000 B.C.) New ceramics were discovered for the first time.

The scientists found some whole vessels and about 500 ceramics fragments. They are in dark grey and black colours. According to the archaeologists, these ceramics can be related to the early paleometall period.
