Primorsky region governor Oleg Kozhemiako:  Kim Jong-un would love to visit Vladivostok again

After lunch with Kim Jong-un the governor of Primorsky region Oleg Kozhemiako told the journalists that the leader of DPRK promised to return to Vladivostok, reports “Vesti: Primorye” with reference to Interfax.

“Today there was a meeting at the “Lesnaya Zaimka” restaurant, wherein in 2002 Kim Jong-un’s father, Kim Jong-il, was. The menu was the same - Russian food that Kim Jong-un respects. There also were Russian songs that the visitors from DPRK know well and love. Along the way to the restaurant, the restaurant “Moranbone” is located, which was opened by Kim Il-sung. It was introduced to Kim Jong-un. He said that he was going to visit it next time, when he’d come to the city. Vladivostok made a good impression on him”- said O. Kozhemiako. According to him, “traditionally the visitors from DPRK are friendly and cordial towards their closest neighbor - Russia.”

“He liked the city and the region and I think that we made everything that we could to make the best impression. There are some places that he wanted to see but didn’t have a chance to visit. I think that we have more to show him”, - said the governor.

Kim Jong-un spent three days in Primorye and had an appointment with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Vladivostok. This was the first trip of the DPRK leader to Russia.
