A new record for the Navy was set by divers, plunging for the first time in history in a diving bell to a depth of 416 meters. "Vesti: Primorye" report this with reference to the TC "Zvezda".

Submariners of the Pacific Fleet, divers from the VUNC Navy Research Institute and military personnel of the expedition detachment of divers participated in the diving into the Sea of Japan.

Specialists used the modern deep-sea diving complex GVK-450, which was placed on board the rescue ship "Igor Belousov." After diving to a depth of 416 meters, submariners surveyed the seabed and unfurled the flag of the Russian Federation.
