In Vladivostok on Friday, November 9, the International Jazz Festival, one of the largest in the Far East, re-opens. His poster is decorated with jazz stars from the USA, Japan, France, Germany, Korea and even Poland.
Ten days that will shake Vladivostok with jazz - this year the Maritime Philharmonic Hall is hosting the 15th anniversary festival of improvisation and swing.
Tatyana Sergeeva, artistic director of the Primorye Regional Philharmonic: “I am very pleased to note that the participants in the First International Festival in Vladivostok will take part in the 15th anniversary festival. This is the quartet of Igor Butman, this famous jazz trio directed by Mitsuaki Kishi. ”
And Khabarovsk pianist Ilya Lushnikov, who played at the very First Festival, then still on the stage of the House of Officers of the Navy.
With different teams, he then participated in almost all jazz festivals of the Philharmonic. Now he lives in Vladivostok and again in anticipation of "star" concerts.
